Measurements are approximate and meant as a general size guide. Small variations may occur between garments.

Buttoned Shirts

  1. Pit to Pit/Chest
    Measure across the chest area of the shirt about an inch down from the underarm seam.
  2. Shoulder
    Measure straight across the back of the shirt, from one shoulder seam to the other.
  3. Sleeve Length
    Measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam, then measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff. Add both of those numbers for the sleeve length.
  4. Length
    Measure straight down the back of the shirt, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the shirt’s hem.

T Shirts

  1. Pit to Pit/Chest
    Measure across the chest area of the shirt about an inch down from the underarm seam.
  2. Length
    Measure straight down the back of the shirt, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the shirt’s hem.

Sweaters & Long Sleeves

  1. Pit to Pit/Chest
    Measure across the chest area of the shirt about an inch down from the underarm seam.
  2. Length
    Measure straight down the back of the shirt, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the shirt’s hem.
  3. Sleeve Length
    Measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam, then measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff. Add both of those numbers for the sleeve length.

Jeans & Pants

  1. Waist
    Lay pants flat and buttoned. Measure along the waistband from edge to edge, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Double that number.
  2. Rise
    Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband.
  3. Inseam
    Measure from the center point of the crotch down to the bottom hem.
  4. Leg Opening
    Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other. Double that number.

Shorts

  1. Waist
    Lay pants flat and buttoned. Measure along the waistband from edge to edge, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Double that number.
  2. Rise
    Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband.
